Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that returns its results. New Mexico Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search terms. If you email the operators, the message and any contact details in it are used to answer you.
Information Collected During a Visit
The hosting service records routine technical logs, which may include an IP address, browser type, page requests, and time stamps. These logs help maintain the service and review overall traffic. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar tools where enabled.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to run the reference, address technical issues, understand aggregate traffic, and improve its pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not created here.
Outside Links and Searches
Links lead to New Mexico county and state portals, libraries, archives, and other services. Each outside operator has its own privacy terms for data you provide there. Sponsored search results are supplied by a separate company and follow that provider's practices.
Who Receives Information
Hosting and site-support providers process the technical logs needed to serve the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is otherwise disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
Pages use an encrypted connection, and technical logs are retained only while they serve the purposes above. Because the reference has no accounts, it does not hold a site password or account profile for you.
Children and Teen Users
This reference is for adults and is not designed for children. If a person under 18 has sent personal information, contact the operators so they can review the message and remove information they control.
Requests About Your Information
You may contact the operators to ask what information this reference holds about your message or visit and to request correction or deletion of information under their control. The research for this New Mexico project did not verify a statewide consumer privacy or deletion-rights statute, or a universal opt-out process, so this policy does not claim that one applies. Use the Contact page for a request. Records held by a New Mexico state, county, or city office are controlled by that custodian, not by this reference.
Policy Changes
Revisions will appear here with the updated policy text. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the new terms.
